When I was in Dubai this past Christmas, we went to Bab Al Shams hotel (meaning 'gateway to the sun') , in the desert, where they had a falcon trainer demonstrating the art of Falconry, and showing us a few tricks with one of two falcons he had. These are a few select pictures of the day! :)
In addition to falconry, the hotel offers camel riding, desert safari, horse riding, archery, personal training sessions and a host of lawn
games including table tennis, mini golf and croquet. I hope be able to participate in these activities the next time I visit.
